    Altec Madrids

If I remember right, we have members in the Portland area (I wish Steven would restore our profile info from the old system so we can see where other members live). Nice price and from what I can see in the photo (and according to the seller?) possibly in nice shape....

About average on the price...only thing there is the 15" biflexes. those are essentially Santanas.

Replace the CTS tweet (mine have Vifa BC25SC06-04) and they will sit up and bark...

The Vifa are like 24 bucks from Parts Express...for a PAIR. Gain an octave over the CTS tweets. 4 ohm requires a series resistor, and I custom built a crossover, best sound I got wound up being 2.5 kHz Butterworth.

I just happen to be in NE PDX. I wonder if this is the same guy I bought some mint Santana's from?

    Re: Altec Madrids

They sent me an email, I can see them over the weekend, if someone here doesn't pop them first.
    I suspect that will happen.
I asked them to check the metal domes. If damaged, I wouldn't want them.
    But I haven't heard back.

The metal domes are perfect. These were owned by an older couple.
I pick them up on Sunday.

Now what do I do with them?
